We met Martina & Ralf already months ago and were twice at their home. Jakob, the eldest of their two kids, has shown me all his papermen. And he had these supercool kangaroo shoes on the wedding day.
Rosa was present at Martina’s Getting Ready at her sister’s house, and I was with Ralf and the kids. They and his parents were incredibly relaxed. For me, it was mainly two moments that made me goose bumps afterwards. I have been able to help Ralf with the tie knot & his cufflinks. The latter we have even had to glue it. 🙂 For me this was a feeling of deep connection.
For us these little moments are what makes the intimacy of the wedding day and our proximity to wedding couples. This is very important to us and we are always grateful for it.
On the way to the church, Ralf told me about his life. And he told and told…
It was wonderful for me, too, because of his growing excitement, and because it was a special closeness between us.
At the Aachener Lousberg we were waiting for Martina & Rosa. We barely ‘compose’ bridal couples, but we wanted to catch their First Look, the first meeting of the two.
It showed again that Rosa & I have completely different orientation approaches, since we had our differences to coordinate the meeting point. 🙂
The wedding in the Salvatorkirche was beautiful. It was different because the priest was relaxed since kids were allowed to have fun right at the front of the altar during the ceremony. We found that incredibly great.
In Belgium they celebrated the day with a blue sky, endless summer and a country style feast.
Thank you very much for a wonderful day!
